Fort Gibson Lake
A long, timbered reservoir on the Grand River northeast of Muskogee, and Billy's second home water for guided paddlefish trips.
Call Billy — (918) 231-7600Fort Gibson Lake stretches along the Grand River in northeastern Oklahoma, north of Muskogee and close to Wagoner. It is Billy's second guiding water, and the one he will often suggest depending on the season, the conditions and where the fish have been.
Why Billy may suggest it
Two lakes give a guide options. When the season, the water or the fish point toward the Grand River side, Fort Gibson is where the day happens. That call is Billy's, and he will make it with you when you talk about dates.
Same fish, same welcome
Paddlefish are the specialty here too, and the boat is set up for people who have never done it before. Families and young anglers are welcome — tell Billy the ages in your group when you call so he can plan around them.
Meeting up
The launch point is arranged with Billy for your date. Get the location and the time from him directly and share both with everyone driving.
